About Uranus

Uranus, The Hemorrhoid Academy App, is a private, discreet, education-led haemorrhoid support app. The website explains the product, shares educational resources, and provides support, privacy, and terms information.

References to “Uranus”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of the Uranus website and waitlist.

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, joining the waitlist, or contacting us through the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit information through it.

Educational use only

The website, resources, waitlist emails, and pre-launch app materials are for general education and information only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Uranus does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or guarantee improvement for haemorrhoids or any other condition.

Medical disclaimer

If symptoms are severe, persistent, worsening, recurrent, or worrying, speak with a qualified healthcare professional. Seek urgent medical help if you have heavy bleeding, severe pain, fever, black stools, unexplained weight loss, dizziness, fainting, or any other concerning symptoms.

Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Uranus website or receive in a Uranus communication.

No clinician-patient relationship

Using the website, joining the waitlist, reading resources, or emailing Uranus does not create a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, or therapist-client relationship.

Waitlist and launch updates

You may join the waitlist by submitting the required form fields. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee early access, app availability, launch timing, pricing, features, support, or any particular outcome.

We may contact waitlist members with launch updates, early access news, educational content, product research questions, and relevant professional or partnership follow-up. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications when that option is provided or by contacting us.

Professional, partner, and investor interest

If you register professional, partnership, or investor interest, any follow-up is exploratory unless and until a separate written agreement is signed. Nothing on this website creates a partnership, agency, employment, investment, clinical, advisory, or commercial relationship.

Using the website responsibly

You agree not to:

• misuse the website, forms, or contact channels;
• submit unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, or offensive content;
• attempt to interfere with website security, hosting, forms, or infrastructure;
• scrape, copy, or harvest data from the website in a way that harms the service or violates rights;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;

Information you submit

You are responsible for the information you submit. Please do not submit urgent medical concerns, highly detailed health records, or sensitive information that is not needed for the waitlist.

If you submit comments, feedback, ideas, suggestions, or research responses, you allow us to use them to improve Uranus, develop the product, plan content, and understand launch interest without owing you payment or attribution, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.

Accounts and app use

The free app can be used locally without an account. Account creation, cloud sync, AI insights, diagnostics, and paid features may involve additional consent prompts or app-store terms presented in the app.

You are responsible for using the app lawfully, keeping your device secure, and seeking professional medical help where symptoms are severe, persistent, worsening, recurrent, or worrying.

Subscriptions

Uranus Pro is billed by Apple as an auto-renewable in-app purchase subscription. The current UK prices are £6.99 per month for Uranus Pro Monthly and £39.99 per year for Uranus Pro Annual. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and Apple storefront.

Paid features include trigger-impact insights, AI insights, cloud sync and backup, the full 9-stage course, recipes, PDF export, and app-lock/security settings. AI insights and cloud sync also require their own current processing consent before they are used.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings through your Apple Account subscriptions. Deleting your Uranus account or deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Content ownership

The website, brand, logo treatment, design, text, images, illustrations, icons, layout, and other materials are owned by Uranus or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may view the website for personal, professional, or informational purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

Trade marks and branding

Uranus, The Hemorrhoid Academy App, and related brand elements may be trade marks or brand assets of the project operator. You may not use our names, logos, or brand assets in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without written permission.

Third-party links and services

The website may link to third-party websites, services, app stores, form providers, email tools, or resources. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, security, or practices. Use third-party services at your own discretion and review their terms and privacy notices.

Availability and changes

We may update, remove, suspend, or change the website, resources, waitlist, product positioning, features, pricing, availability, or launch plans at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

No warranties

The website and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, medical suitability, or results.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uranus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses arising from use of the website, waitlist, resources, or pre-launch communications.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these terms, unlawful submissions, or infringement of third-party rights.
